2019 Advanced Homemade Winemaking Course

Please email info@homemakeit.com.au

Every year Home Make It runs its Advanced Homemade Winemaking Courses for the wine enthusiast. Our students range from people who are looking to make their own wine at home, to the amateur winemaker who is looking to improve their knowledge and understanding of how to make a better drop. The courses are educative workshops that cover the entire wine making process.

Students are provided with wine-making processing fact sheets, as well as developing hands on experience by making a batch of wine over 6 classes. These sessions are spread over the year focusing on the different stages in the wine-making process. The idea of the course is to encourage each student to take what they learn and put that into practice on their own batch of wine at home.

We consider that to make good wine, you need to start with good grapes! Our 1st class will be offsite at Bangholme winery where you can start to understand when, where and how to get good grapes. The remaining classes will occur at our Clayton Home Make It site.

We want you to enjoy the experience of making good wine providing the best experience of touring on the wine yards and learning with the experts. Each class will be provided nibbles and refreshments and at  final class you will enjoy a nice BBQ made specially for you as well as taking home a dozen bottles of the wine you helped to make.
